Last updated on 13 January 2026 by Brisbane Livewell Clinic Editorial Team

Boost your Fertility with this delicious fig smoothie.

So can a Fig Smoothie help boost your fertility? Fertility Issues can be quite a common struggle for many couples. The good news is there is plenty of fantastic support, including Natural Therapies that can help boost your Fertility.

The first thing you want to focus on when trying to boost your Fertility is eating foods rich in antioxidants. Antioxidants (particularly folate and zinc) can help improve and increase fertility for both males and females. Free radicals can damage the cells in our bodies, including the cells of both eggs and sperm; antioxidants can help protect these cells from free radicals and help prevent damage.

Fig Smoothie

Figs are a great fruit you will want to include as part of your diet, particularly if you’re planning to fall pregnant (or struggling to, as the case may be). They are bursting with unique antioxidants and are rich in a wide variety of vitamins and minerals, all of which will support increasing your Fertility. Figs for men can help increase sperm count and motility, while for females, they can help keep any hormone imbalances or irregular cycles.

A nourishing, well-balanced diet with plenty of vibrant, fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables will go a long way in setting you up for creating a happy and healthy baby.
